The Mediterranean coasts inspired the names of Marari bags. Each bag is named after a coast that meets the Mediterranean. Nissi is a coast in Cyprus, and the word means “island.”

The belt that wraps around the front, back body, and gussets of Nissi through channels serves to connect the handle and the body. Marari belt buckles are located on the side bodies. The Marari logo is one of the brand’s distinguishing features, and its use as a belt buckle in functional accessory design enhances its distinctive value. The zipper closure, with its vertical and horizontal positions, gives the design two different stances.
